Snow glasses maintenance
All glasses Vonzipper have a special lens coating. Clean only the glasses of your glasses using a cleaner specially designed for glasses with a microfiber cleaning cloth or a glasses bag. To avoid damaging the lens, do not clean your glasses with t-shirts, paper towels or snow yetis. These can grind dust and fibers in lenses leaving stripes. Avoid using household detergents, soaps or window cleaners, which are very corrosive and can damage your lenses quickly. Solar creams and other lotions can also damage the painting and coating of glasses and mounts. When you do not wear your glasses, keep them in their microfiber protective case or in their rigid case. This will guarantee that they will be in good condition the next time you are ready to shred the powder.
Lens change instructions
You must be cautious when you change the screen of the glasses. Make sure your hands are clean and dry when you change lenses. Do not change the goal with gloves. It will scratch the lens.
Removal of a lens
- When you remove the lens from the frame, hold the frame from the bottom and enter the top of the frame from the inside. Gently pull the top of the frame far from the lens.
- Once the up of the frame is separated from the lens, shine the lens carefully out of the sides and the bottom of the frame.
Insertion of a goal
- Start by inserting the lens at the level of the frame. Align the notch of the lens with the frame of the frame. Make sure the lens is aligned with the rusting of the frame. Once the nose is aligned, push the lens on the post.
- Once the lens is inserted properly into the nose, continue to insert the lens into the groove along the bottom and the sides of the mount. Make sure to sink the lens well in the groove of the frame.
- Once the sides and the bottom are properly inserted, you will finish at the top of the frame, aligning the notch on the lens with the post at the top of the frame.
- Finally, check the goal to make sure that it is properly placed in the frame and you are ready to reduce the powder!
All vonzipper snow lenses are pre-incurred to adapt to the curve of the mask mount. In order to keep their shape, protect the glasses against flattening during the trip, do not store the flat glasses and do not drive flat!
