SNOW GLASSES CARE
All VonZipper goggles have a special lens coating. Only clean the lenses of your glasses using a cleaner made specifically for glasses with a microfiber cleaning cloth or glasses bag. To avoid lens damage, DO NOT clean your glasses with t-shirts, paper towels, or snow yetis. These can grind dust and fibers into the lenses leaving scratches. Avoid using household detergents, soaps or glass cleaners, which are very corrosive and can damage your lenses quickly. Sunscreens and other lotions can also damage the paint and coating of lenses and frames. When you are not wearing your glasses, keep them in their protective microfiber case or in their hard case. This will ensure they are in good shape the next time you are ready to shred the powder.
LENS CHANGING INSTRUCTIONS
You should exercise caution when changing the lens of the glasses. Make sure your hands are clean and dry when changing lenses. Do not change the lens with gloves on. This will scratch the lens.
REMOVING A LENS
- When removing the lens from the mount, hold the mount from the bottom and grasp the top of the mount from the inside. Gently pull the top of the mount away from the lens.
- Once the top of the frame is separated from the lens, carefully pull the lens out of the sides and bottom of the frame.
INSERTING A OBJECTIVE
- Start by inserting the lens at the nose of the frame. Align the lens notch with the frame post. Make sure the lens is aligned with the frame groove. Once the nose is aligned, push the lens onto the post.
- Once the lens is inserted correctly at the nose, continue to insert the lens into the groove along the bottom and sides of the frame. Be sure to press the lens firmly into the groove of the frame.
- Once the sides and bottom are properly inserted you will finish at the top center of the frame aligning the notch on the lens with the post at the top of the frame.
- Finally, check the lens to make sure it's seated correctly in the frame and you're ready to cut through the powder!
All VonZipper snow lenses are pre-curved to match the curve of the goggle frame. In order to maintain their shape, protect the glasses against flattening during travel, do not store the glasses flat or ride flat!
